Take a few minutes to do some deep breathing relaxation techniques. Choose an element and write a poem or story that uses that word in one of the lines. Write about those feelings. Write about a scary or not-so-scary monster in your closet or under the bed.

Choose a common cliche, then write something that says the same thing but without using the catch phrase. Write about giving someone a standing ovation. Write about a recipe for something abstact, such as a feeling.
